Ludwigslust-Parchim II – Nordwestmecklenburg II – Landkreis Rostock I is one of the 299 single member constituencies used for the German parliament, the Bundestag. One of six districts covering the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the constituency elects one representative under the mixed member proportional representation (MMP) system. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 13.
The constituency was created for the 2013 election, when the number of constituencies in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was reduced by one. The first election was won by Karin Strenz of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).〔(Daniel Bahr: Erfolge nicht gut nach außen getragen ), Deutsches Ärzteblatt, 23 September 2013〕 She had been elected in 2009 for one of the constituency's predecessors, Wismar – Nordwestmecklenburg – Parchim.
